The IRS process allows combining different rubber compounds, thicknesses, features and surface textures to provide specific performance zones to boost your climbing. Sticky rubber under foot, durable bevel edge rands and textured and stepped heel cup all contribute to making the next grade.
Half midsole boosts edging performance and has center cutaway for smearing sensitivity. Outer sole is sticky FS Quattro Rubber - thicker on the perimeter and thinner in the center for flexibility, smearing and conforming to rounded holds. Uppers are slip lasted split leather, canvas lined and fitted with padded, breathable mesh tongue. SPIDER LACE features Boreal's ALS (Ankle Lacing System) which allows fine tuning the fit and extra tensioning of heel cup - to coax your toes forward for edging power.
