RESLING YOUR CAMS, HEXES & NUTS!

Our Reslinging Service will replace your old, fuzzy slings with strong dyneema-nylon Ultratape. Just like your rope, harness and rubber, slings, runners and quickdraws degrade with abrasion, age and exposure to sunlight. Manufacturers recommend sling replacement after only a couple years of regular use, a serious fall or visible signs of wear - all which compromise the slings original strength. We’ll resling cams, nuts, hexes, TRICAMS and hooks and color code them with 8 different brightly colored Ultratape™ slings - and rush them right back to you. Typical shop time is 2-4 days (except for around the holidays)... please allow plenty of time to return them to you - well in advance of the next climbing trip. If you're on a tight schedule - call ahead and we'll make arrangements. We no longer resling original Camalots with the "U" frame. colors: red, royal, grn, yel, org, purp, silver, blk

SHIPPING INSRUCTIONS: You can either ship or mail your cams to: Resling Service, Mountain Tools 225 Crossroads Blvd. Carmel, CA 93923. Please print our Online Order Form to include an itemized list of your gear, return shipping address, desired return shipping method & payment info. Please mark your cams and Chocks with the color web you want or we will use the current standard.
To avoid extra charges (shop time is $45 per hour), please remove old slings. If trigger repairs are desired let us know - we can usually do this at the same time and charge accordingly. If you have "Gunks Tie Offs" on your Rigid Friends - these can be replaced with 18" of 5.5 mm Titan Cord which we can supply to you. Orders not paid for within 30 days will be considered abandoned and sold for charges or disposed of.
