Pairing different size cam lobes together on opposite sides of the flexible cable stem allows HYBRIDS to fit cracks with both pairs of cams engaged at the optimum (mid point) position rather than having to "force fit" a standard cam into a flare. This assures faster and higher strength placements for leader and also easier removal for your partner. Contemplate this - most cracks flare more than you may realize (which is why spring loaded cams work so well in the first place) - if a standard cam works pretty well in moderate flares, then the reciprocal is true - ALIEN HYBRIDS will work equally well in parallel cracks and have the distinct advantage of secure placements in flares.
